Amy gave a very informative talk about creating festive charcuterie boards for the holidays. She had a wonderful slide show that explained all the different kinds of charcuterie boards you can make. The original boards included meat, usually a salami, cheese, crackers, nuts, fruit dips. But these boards have expanded to include a variety of savory and sweet combinations. They can follow a theme for a sports event, teacher appreciation week, musical celebration, holidays, graduation and many more. Amy showed us how to make a salami rose to add to the board. She then demonstrated how to make a charcuterie board. It certainly gave a lot of ideas for anyone to add a charcuterie board to their holiday treats.
